This sequence was taken from a little morning hike we did with the Oxford Mom and Tots group :). Ms. Katie Boyle was our fearless (environmentally aware) guide! The hike was through William Faulkner's property, which he named Rowan Oak after the Roman mythological legend of this oak.

| Whose woods these are |
| I think I know. |
| The woods are lovely, |
| dark and deep |
| But I have promises to keep |
| And miles to go |
| Before I sleep! |
| (I took excerpts from Robert Frost's poem for the captions above :)) |

| This Solitary Tree! a living thing |
| Produced too slowly ever to decay; |
Of form and aspect too magnificent to be destroyed.
... well almost ;)
William Wordsworth |

Beautiful pictures Jen. Those last few remind me of another one of my favorite poems... “Once there was a tree, and she loved a little boy...” Hope you remember as fondly :)
